This is a kind of a new painting, that started as a dark self portrait in 1990 and ended totally changed, these days in 2010. It’s breaking my heart to see the various layers this painting underwent through, but hey, this is life. We don’t stay the same. But if science allows, one can scrap away the layers, and get to the bottom of things.
זה ציור חדש, אפשר לומר, שהתחיל כסוג של פורטרט עצמי חמור סבר בתחילת שנות התשעים, והשתנה לחלוטין בגירסתו העכשווית, 2010. לא פשוט לי לראות את השלבים השונים, בשכבות הנערמות של הציור, אבל אלה החיים. אנחנו משתנים. אם יוכל מישהו בכל זאת לגרד את השכבות, אפשר יהיה לחזור אולי ללב העניין, או למה שהיה, תלוי איך מסתכלים על זה. באופן חריג, יש לי כאן את צילומי הדרך של הסיפור הזה. הנה אחת הגירסאות הקדומות. אם מישהו ממש אוהב, תמיד אפשר יהיה להדפיס את התצלום. 0
